@mcfartard do you think that avast and comodo firewall and malwarebytes is a good combo or what do you reccommend

Tinyal818 July 29, 2010

@mcfartard is spyware doctor an antivirus too?

mcfartard July 29, 2010

@liktastic avira has the highest detection rate of all antiviruses @ 99.4% besides gdata @99.8% panda cloud is right about where avira is and avast is around 98% detection rate eset is around 97.5-98% basically it all depends on what you like best but i wouldnt recommend paying for antivirus as free ones are really just as good as the paid ones these days but for the average pc user i would recomend avats 5 because its simple and has alot of features avira is bit more complicating to config

mcfartard July 29, 2010

@acerb45666555 basically its legit system files that are denying avira access to them because they are protected

mcfartard July 29, 2010

@Tinyal818 he uses spyware doctor from pctools because of its high detection and cleaning abilities….

Tinyal818 July 29, 2010

Caseysvids July 29, 2010

MrMakeman July 29, 2010

@fearthebeachball
That’s a virus?
I thought it was a useful porn downloader!

fearthebeachball July 29, 2010

@MrMurad1234 didnt detect the one i had: WShost32
it would download tens of trojans though, and avira caught those…but it took malwarebytes and prevx to get it

fearthebeachball July 29, 2010

LOL the “privacy center” rogue detected “porn caches” hahahaha

Xlion901 July 29, 2010

Hey, in the end there were two windows update things in the task manager. Is that normal?

MrMurad1234 July 29, 2010

gilder37 July 29, 2010

I have a question… I currently have a virus or some trojan on my computer, and I downloaded avira, and was just wondering how can I get it to remove it? thanks

acerb45666555 July 29, 2010

fabianlikestoskate July 29, 2010

This is BEAST<3

2dayCA July 29, 2010

@TheChevMaster Avira 10 is trash. Avg is pretty good but no antirootkit. Avast does them all but has a pretty low detection rate. But should do if yo udont browse to many infected links. Or if u want 100% protection go with comodo internet security 4

traemaster9998880 July 29, 2010

thanks bro but what antivirus do you recomend your customers when fixing a infected pc

Battlecorps101 July 29, 2010

Is this unlimited? Or does it have a certain number of days before it expires?

HuShIeS July 29, 2010

@cheater87
oh thanks

alexchrisccc July 29, 2010

thats why i chose avira 10 ;D it simply does its job right

cheater87 July 29, 2010

@HuShIeS Its malware that drops malicious files onto your PC just by visiting the site. Kinda like a drive by shooting with viruses instead of bullets. :P

lucario101trainer July 29, 2010
